Designed without seams in the saddle area, so there is no chafing or pressure points. Unique shape eliminates pinching and rubbing and the pommel features extra padding. Mattes offers the best therapeutic-grade sheepskin on the market, and it retains its loft and wicking properties better than any other sheepskin product out there. I use my dressage and CC saddles as trail saddles, meaning hours, not minutes, of pressure, and the pad always come off my horse's back looking like it was just put on. I own several of these pads in both dressage and euro jumping style and won't go back to anything else. Easy care, too - just wash and drip dry.
