While these clippers are not designed for body clipping, they are great for everything else, including dogs. Two batteries is a great idea and they cut great for the four horses we are using them on.

After much deliberation I chose this clipper because to the reviews- It proved to be a very BAD choice. The clippers worked for 3 weeks, I sent them in for repair, my warranty was not honored, I had to pay over 50.00 to get the clippers back which took over 1 month. After a month they broke again, I sent them back for more repairs (WARNING- Laube makes you give them all your CC information before they will service the clippers) It has bee over 7 weeks and at least that many emails and still no clippers. I am not sure these clippers are actualy intended for horse/barn use in the first place.

I've body clipped my horses with these, used them for trims, haircuts on the boys too. They are the best clippers I've ever used. Quite on foals easy to teach them to stand for them twin battery allows for the one to recharge fast while you use the other and get the whole horse done. Just have extra blades that's the only hard part is finding the replacement blades lately. Have had mine now for three years going strong. Have had Oster and many other corded brands with out a barn and with a barn these get it done nice and easy. Even that thick foal coat came off like a breeze.
