Ladies' Ovation™ Finalist Field Boots
Full grain leather and cuff lined, these pull-on Ovation riding boots now have Dri-Lex lining to help control moisture. Action gusset, Spanish cut top, spur rest. Black. Ladies' sizes 5-10 1/2, slim, regular, wide or x-wide calf.
For proper fit, Dover recommends that you take the time to determine your measurements before you order. Have another person measure your leg for the most accuracy. Properly fitted tall boots will, at first, be uncomfortably tight around the top of the boot and should come up into the back of your knee. They should be difficult to pull on and off or zip up. As they break in, they will drop comfortably around your leg.

When referring to tall boot sizing charts, it is important to keep in mind that all tall boots are measured at the widest part of the calf, but each brand measures height differently.

How to Measure for Tall Boots:

1. Wear the clothing (breeches, tights, socks, etc.) you are most likley to wear with your boots.
2. Sit in a straight chair with feet flat on the floor and knees at a 90 degree angle.
3. Measure calf around the widest part, and measure height from the floor to back of the knee.
4. Add 1 1/2" - 2" to measured height to allow for drop as your boots break in.

For individual size charts and meaurements, please refer to the "Size Guide" link that appears on the product page.

I wear these boots everyday I go to the barn from 7am- 7pm (in the summer it was everyday). I would shower horses in them, ride seven horses a day, and walk around in them. I have gone through two pairs of these boots as schooling boots. The first ones I really liked and people thought they were Ariats (that's how nice they looked). Additionally, they break in super well. The first pair lasted about four months of my hard wear; however, the ones I currently own I have had for two months and the bottom is already falling off. Very disappointing for these boots. These are a great buy if you aren't going to heavily use them. Hope this helps!

When my mom and I were looking for show boots, we had to get something affordable yet fancy enough for elite shows. We did just that. These boots are really affordable and are good quality. I have had these boots for about two years or and they are so awesome! They are easy to take care of and the they are easy to put on/off- they don't even have a back zipper. They broke in easy and the leather is soft yet strong. An elegant look to them, I would recomend these boots to anyone: beginer to advanced.

These boots look great, feel great, and clean easily. They break in well and come on/off easily, even without zippers. Worth every dollar!
