Comfortable for every day wear

I purchased these boots at the end of the summer, and have used them every day since. I needed a sturdy leather boot that was comfortable for all day/every day use because I spend the majority of the day on my feet. The boots are very comfortable. However, even though they are advertised as having full leather uppers, the tongue is made of some variety of synthetic material. Within one week, the tongue started cracking in the ankle area. Currently, it is nearly broken through in some spots. I would have rated the boots as five-star if not for the construction/performance of the tongue.
The laces SUCK! But the boots are great

I got these in august, and by November, the laces had frayed and broken into so many strings, I couldnt even get them out of the holes!! AND it was the night before a big show!!! Luckily we went to Lucky's and got these other laces. The ones Ariat gives you are very clothie, for lack of a better description. It may have been since I pull the laces pretty tight, but I dont like it when I wear them w/out half chaps and my ankles aren't secure. You may want to have back up laces if you dont want to be bootless suddenly one day. Other than that they are good, but they were very stiff at first, but now they are broken in, and they're great. I would def. recommend these!

These are by far the most comfortable riding boots I've ever owned and they were comfortable from the first time I put them on. When I'm done riding I take my dogs for long walks around my farm and I don't bother to change out of these boots. That's how comfortable they are!They're well worth the money!
