My fiance bought me these boots last year. I run a training barn and LIVE in my boots. Plus we have a creek on our property that I constantly walk thru to get horses and/or take out hay, giving baths, etc, etc, so my boots are ALWAYS gettins wet. These boots have held up better than any other Ariat boot to all the "water damage". My previous boots would hold up well, but start to crack from all the getting wet then drying cycle. Plus it's nice to have dry feet at all times! These will be the only boots I ever buy again. Now I wish they'd make them into field boots cause I'm tired of wet feet after walking cross country or stadiums in the grass or when it's raining!

If I am not at school, then I am usually in a barn. I have a horse, and I work at a barn that has 100 horses, so my boots are constantly getting muddy, wet, and anything else you can image. This is probably my 4th pair of Ariats, since i'm quite hard on them. They are extremely comfortable to ride AND walk in, which is good, and the leather is very soft, which I think will prevent cracking and breaking. These boots are also very easy to clean, and I clean them almost every day. I would definetly recommend these boots to anyone that wants a terrific show or work boot.
