These are the most comfortable boots I own. I wear them all time, all seasons, all kinds of weather. Surprisingly, I can step right into them (without bending down and pulling them up) and yet they don't flop around on my feet. They definitely run large -- almost a full size. (I'm usually a 9 and these boots are an 8) They are so comfortable that I sometimes forget to change into other boots when I ride. I agree w/earlier review that they're probably too clunky to ride in safely with stirrup irons; I'm sure they're safer with endurance stirrups (which is what I use), but I don't recommend them for riding. I'm tempted to buy another pair for when these finally wear out -- in case they aren't making them any more by then.

This is a pretty good boot. It is very waterproof and roomy for winter socks. The leather is supple and low maintenance. My only complaint is that the heel rubs. I wear these boots the most and I now have callouses on my heels from these. The back of the boot will also rub the back of my calf raw if I wear them with jeans.

These boots are great! They are my first paddock boots as I am new to riding and owning horses. Definitely water proof, gave my big guy a bath and I had dry socks at the end! Really neat color, dark brown and they feel broken in from the beginning. Easy slip on!
