I love these stirrups because the joint in the helps my ankle, heel and overall jumping position. on the downside the sometimes create such a big angle that my foot slides out and that can be very annoying. However, i do recommend them because they have improved my leg tremdously

At first this seemed like a great idea. Instead of helping me keep my heels down, I actually loose my stirrups in down transitions when the stirrups suddenly rotate up. It feels like the 'floor' my feet are standing on is wobbly, thus easy to loose my balance. My husband welded them at the down angle and now they are much better!

After my left lower leg was stepped on, resulting in multiple plates in the tib/fib and pins in the ankle, it was difficult to drop my ankle into the normal fillis stirrup. These solved that problem. I LOVE them! They do require a minor adjustment in seat for jumping, but since just the simple act of riding is very painful otherwise, I'm more than happy to do this. As for the problem with the foot coming out of the stirrup, I always use the sandpaper pads, even in regular fillis - no problem! I will soon be buying a second pair for my dressage saddle.
