Measure around your head at the widest part, be sure to do this with your hair up if that is how the helmet will be worn. Match the measurement up with a size based on the size chart below. The tape measure should be snug.

I like that I can wear it anywhere on the trails, in a show, or in a basic lesson. It is simple but is basic enough for the show ring. Cleaning it is a breeze and it doesn't stain.

This was my second International helmet and I've had this helmet for almost 5 years and it's just as nice today as it was when I bought it. This helmet has been through everything- lessons, schooling, falls and drops, cross country, trail riding, hunters and jumpers, dressage, and in and out of the showring in all weather. It is well made and wears very well. It is comfortable and light weight, and I would definetly buy an International helmemt again. I can't belive how good it looks after all the abuse I've put it through.

this helmet fit perfectly, however, the front profile is HUGE. my husband said i looked like a member of the indian/british army. if you have a thin, small face, i do not recommend.
