This is the best leather dressing I've used. It doesn't make the leather slippery, and is quickly absorbed. You can apply it, and be in the saddle an hour later with no greasy stains.

This probably waterproofs well, but it does not soften or give a proper matte finish preferred in A circuit hunter/Eq divisions- it makes tack shiny (looks new, not desirable, and not 'oiled' like a high-end tack shop would do when you purchase) and slippery (see below). Maybe if you spend a lot of time riding in the rain and elements, this works, but beware of using it on your saddle. It made my Pessoa a like a slip and slide! Trying to figure out how to remove it so my saddle can be conditioned back to its supple, slightly tacky feeling, satin (versus high gloss), self. It is repelling conditioner as well as water, so saddle just keeps getting stiffer and dryer underneath this awful stuff.
