Herm Sprenger 4-F Bow Balance Stirrup Irons
Herm Sprenger System 4-F stirrup irons pivot in four directions simultaneously, allowing greater comfort and improved performance. The wider shock-absorbing footbed plus this pivoting capability significantly reduces strain on knee and ankle joints. The bowed shape and offset eye help hold the iron in the correct position for optimal foot placement. The stirrups are marked left and right to accommodate the anatomical shapes of your left and right leg. Cut-out branch eliminates unnecessary weight. Sizes 4 1/4", 4 3/4", 5 1/8".

These stirrups are absolutely worth the money. I hadn't had problems with joint pain before, so I bought them simply to improve my position, and they worked wonders. With regular stirrups, I have "clothes-hanger feet"- my feet stick out instead of facing forwards. With these stirrups, my feet face forwards without me even trying to correct them. Not to mention my leg position is so much better!
Like I said above, I didn't have any problem with joint pain before, as I'm pretty young. But I can definitely see where these stirrups would help- they make it feel like you're floating on a cloud! I could never go back to regular fillis irons again after using these stirrups. They are absolutely worth the money, and I would recommend them to anyone.

These stirrups are wonderful. I bought them because I was having pain in my knees after riding for several hours on hunts. The stirrups eliminated this pain entirely. Also, I noticed one reviewer was complaining that you can't buy "grater pads" for these stirrups. You actually can. I found some, but they were like $50.
