First purchased these gloves because of the closure. I hate velcro around my wrist and these closing on the back of my hand had alot of appeal to them. Been using them trail riding a headstrong horse and they have held up well, they are breathable, clean well and have had no issues with wearing fabric or smell. Had them about three months riding three times a week

i have worn these gloves for about 4-5 months and mine are going strong. they dont smell but i am still hesitant to buy another pair because of all the bad radings these gloves have gotten. but i think if you put them back in the plastic bag they came in after every ride like i do they are fine. so see for you self.

I got these a months ago and they were meant to be show gloves but after a few weeks they had holes all in them and they smelled bad and the leather got stiff.
