I have written reviews a couple of times on Dover, but this review is worth it! I bought this saddle to go with my HDR Bridle and I love the saddle...I have know idea what the review means "stiff" it is really nice even now...I have had it for 3 1/2 years! GO HDR SADDLES!

I bought this saddle 2 yrs ago for my daughter. She loves this saddle. It is used daily and has taken many abuses and still is in great shape. Only one minor scuff mark on seat so far. She loves it for schooling and has shown in it numerous times. Great saddle for the price. Only wish it had an adjustable gullet system.

When this saddle first arrived I was so impressed I considered it 'ride ready.' Boy was I wrong! After a few weeks of riding in it the leather was so stiff and dry I couldn't stand it! So I took it back home and spent 2 hours cleaning and oiling it, oiled it 4 times before it stopped taking. Now the leather looks rich and soft, and it's starting to break in nicely. Has a great balance point with secure knee rolls for hard eventing. Good for the price, fair buy.
