I bought this bit for my 5 year old OTTB, and he loved it! I now use it on my new young eventer, and he goes pefectly in it too. My mom borrowed it for her super sensitive horse, and loved it so much she bought one! I would reccomend it for anyone with a young horse. My only complaint is that it gets chewed up by horses that chomp the bit a lot.

My horse has a very sensitive mouth, so I tried this softer bit. It works better than an all metal bit for her,and is well made, but is the wrong style for her. I found she is happier with more tongue relief with a Myler bit. I will keep the Happy Mouth on hand for other horses.
