I bought this tool with some skepticism. I am so glad I got it. Amazing for that heavy coat - hair just comes out. I must warn that as the furminator has little teeth - my horse has sensitive skin so I cannot 'rake' with a heavy hand. I LOVE THIS TOOL AND WOULD RECOMMEND TO ANYONE.

The Furminator shedding tool is amazing. I don't body clip my warmblood, so every spring I have to deal with major shedding most of which land on me. After curring, I then use the Furminator to pull out lots of loose hair and dirt near the skin. The tiny teeth are very gentle and the handle is cushioned and easy to use. My horse stands very still because it feel so good. Everyone in my barn want one, too. Worth every penny!

This works great on horses! I borrowed my friends and immediately wanted to buy one of my own. My TB is really shaggy this winter and is starting to shed it out. This comb worked amazingly on him and left him looking a lot shinier considering he hasn't had a bath in months.
