F.I.T.S. Performax™ Zip-Front Full-Seat Riding Breeches
Functional design for optimal performance. Body sculpted tailoring and advanced fabrics create truly outstanding front zip riding breeches by F.I.T.S.
Performance microfiber offers both wicking and warming properties for all-season wear. Perforated deerskin creates more surface resistance against saddle for better grip. Full-seat is segmented to allow full range of motion. Double surface fabric camouflages figure challenges with looped twill interior and smooth exterior. Hidden “Ab” panel in patent-pending Powernet offers subtle but effective body core support and a smooth, flattering line to tummy and hip area with front zip styling. Powernet at inner calf helps alleviate heat buildup inside boots. Fold-over elastic at ankles reduces bulk and keeps breech legs in place. Machine wash. USA. XS(0-2), S(4-6), M(8-10), L(12-14), XL(16-18). Full Seat - In champagne, taupe, or slate.

Disappointing. I bought these breeches because I was sick of having to replace the more inexpensive breeches every six months. Unfortunately, these also only lasted six months. (I ride about 20 hours per week.) Although the breeches are generally well constructed, the thread in the seams in the crotch and inner thigh - where your body puts the most pressure against the saddle - actually rubbed away in places and the rest of the seams started to unravel. I’ve had seams fray, pull apart, and develop holes, but I’ve never had the thread wear completely away. I contacted the company and they said they were testing more durable thread, but $280 is a lot to pay for the same problem I had with $40 breeches.
These breeches are generally comfortable. I will say that when putting on the breeches, you should take care how the patches are positioned on your body. Before I figured out how they need to sit on my body, the top of the right (but not the left) inner thigh patch hit me in a weird place and I developed a huge blister from the edge of the patch rubbing against my skin as I rode. I’ve never had this happen before, but the patches are thicker than other full seat patches I’ve ridden in.
The patches do have excellent grip, and the fabric is phenomenal– stretchy enough, supportive enough and all my manure, hay drool, and dirt stains washed right out. They’re also comfortable in -10 degrees or the 90+ degree hot and humid Virginia summer.

LOVE THESE BREECHES! THEY KEEP MY BUTT IN THE SADDLE WITHOUT THE BULKINESS OF TRADITIONAL FULLSEATS. I ALSO LOVE HOW YOU CAN CONTROL THE TACKINESS OF THE DEERSKIN.
