This hoof boot protects, keeps dirt out and keeps medications in place. Allows hoof to breathe. Heavy-duty Cordura with nylon thread. 1/4" thick leather sole. Machine wash. Not for use during exercise. Each. Measure widest part of hoof (both length and width) and consult sizes. S(43/4"W x 41/2"L), M(53/4"W x 6"L), L(61/2"W x 61/2"L), XL(71/2"W x 71/2"L).

I have used these for 16 months on a horse with laminitis and have 6 pairs. I was them every use and am able to adjust the gel pads and easy care pads as needed. He is 17.1 so he wears XL and is turned out in a 5 acre paddock with them on. If the leather separates from the nylon the saddler stitches them back together for a nominal fee. He really likes them otherwise he would lye down and remove them. Nothing else has worked so well.

With some duct tape around the top to ensure the velcro doesn't come undone, the boot held up well for more than a week even in turnout. They run a little large, so opt for the smaller size if in doubt. Very easy and convenient. Good product.

I have used this boot for 3-4 yrs. Overall this boot is the best I have used. Have started having problems w/ the leather stitching breaking from the boot have spoke w/ the company. They are going to replace my boot. Just bought 3 more.
