Have been using Epic Easyboots for four seasons now. Travel, camping, packing and hunting through the Rocky Mountains through extreme terrain, mud, snow, hard gravel, and miles of rocks. The boots seem to hold up very well. Can repair and replace parts on the trail easily. The oldest set of boots I have I bought second hand (had been used for one season) and are on their fifth season and grips are starting to round off. Have replaced cables, buckles and gaiters a number of times, but are still good to go for at least one or two more seasons.

I bought these boots to prevent my horse from losing shoes in the pasture. The first day he was turned out and he ran the boots came apart with his foot going all the way through the bottom of on of the boots. The cable was wrapped around his fetlock and I had to cut it off. I would not recommend these for turnout because if I had not been there to cut the boot off the cable could have hurt his tendons.
