A good buy for the money. My medium size fits almost all of the horses that I ride, and it is very easy to clean. For the money, these boots are a practical buy, however there ARE nicer models out there for much more expensive price points. For forty dollars you are only going to get a boot so good.

I bought these boots for my 16.2 hand TB. I bought a large pair for his front and an XL pair for his hind, there is next to no difference in the size. They clean up easily, I only had to hose them off. I did not like that they retain water. After a hosing, they swelled and took days to dry. The inner lining is not neoprene, it is some sort of cheap rubber, and during a workout they cause my horse's legs to heat up and swear terribly. They are NOT breathable! After just a few weeks of using, the material on the outside of the boots began to crack and tear. Not what I expected from Dover. I would NOT recommend these boots to anyone!

I bought these from e-bay as lightly used - only worn one time. I needed to get the boots which would work as my ASB white boots (sold here in Dover, too). It was a mistake to expect the similar quality and fit. These are made in China - cheap, soft, easy to rip and damage ordinary plastic with nasty rubber (not neoprene) which cause extreme sweating when on. My horse actually made the hole in the boots after ONE TIME - a penny size chunk of plastic just vanished by the end of our riding session. The fit is atrocious - the boots are funny tailored and don't stay against the leg and get lot of sand which sticks to the skin due to the extra sweating.. The only good thing is they are easy to hose and dry, and they are easy on and off . Never the less i think the are not worthy $39.90 per pair. Make yourself a favor - get ASB boots for the same price and enjoy better fit and performance.
