Although the stand is very pretty, it has a design flaw that prevents the top from staying closed, it just flips in. The company that manufatures the stand was very nice but clearly have never put one of these together. They sent me new ends thinking that would solve the problem but sent me exactly what I already had. They they sent a pretty crude fix. My husband is now going to try to rig a fix himself. Also, the bottom slat does not have the rails as seen in the picture - it is just a flat shelf.

The wood is adequate but the hardware was poorly made and the pilot holes were so bad that I had to borrow a drill to even complete assembly. The previous one I had purchased only took 15 minutes to assemble. This one took about three hours. For the price, I expected higher quality.
