I have a black pair of these, which I have used for 2+ years on 2 different ponies, one of which overreaches. I use them for both riding and shipping, and only now, after 2 1/2 years, is the bottom velcro starting to rip off. My horses have never had a scratch wearing these, just hose them off if they get dirty or they will rub their feltlock area like any bell boot. Well worth the price. They fit all of my ponies wonderfully, and don't give them rubs unless they are not cleaned after riding.

I've bought 2 pairs of these and one pair's velcro broke within the first month of use when my horse overreached. The second pair are still being used but only once or twice a week and they seem to be fine..

These bell boots protect well and seem to be more durable then the last few pairs I've bought. I am concerned though that the straps will rip so I take them off very carefully. We'll see how long these last.
