Tip for Ripped Velco

I don't actually have these boots (though I hear they're good), but just a tip for people who say the velcro rips - my horse is VERY tough on his bell boots, and he ripped the velcro off several times so I took them down to a local shoe repair shop. They sued the velcro back on with their machine and some strong thread, so for $6 more I got three more months out of them! Finally threw them away when the rubber wore through, not because the velcro came off.

I got a pair of these second hand from my farrier when my overreaching horse took a chunk out of her heel and they have held up amazingly well. She lived in them for the last 4 months and has just ripped one of the velcro off. They are still working just fine with the 1 remaining velcro and I'm very happy with them, especially for the price.

My guy lives in these and I do like them very much. I wish the velcro would stay stitched but the velcro grabs very well. He is very tough on them, the horses are cantering through trails to the turnout pasture and back to barn all day and they last on him usually a month with this tough abuse so I would recommend them if your horse overreaches. It saves on the shoe bill! and protects his heels.
