These boots are made of rubber with a horse shoe shaped tread on the bottom. They have a nylon adjustable strap at the back to help them stay on. Well worth the money for these boots.

My horse destroyed it in one use. Not good for horses who are nosey or like to be destructive. Would probably be fine for a more mild mannered horse.
