These shoes are the most comfortable shoes I own! I wear them every day, they are supportive, and look great with most outfits. I have foot and back problems and these help a lot. I definitely notice a difference when I don't wear them. They take a little getting used to when you first start wearing them because they do not have a flexible sole, and they will form to your feet after a couple wears. So if they don't feel great right from the start wear them around the house for a while and they should feel better. If they don't feek good still, try another pair. Sometime a different pair will fit a but different and do the trick. They are a little pricey, but worth EVERY penny!!!!!!

I bought a pair of these after trying them on at the store. I was diagnosed with plantar fascitis and told to wear shoes with better support. I never thought I would spend so much money on shoes that were stapled (the leather to the sole), but they were worth every penny! Walking was so painful until I got these! It took a little getting used to having so much arch support, but I didn't give up and in the end, my foot was better for it. As for hiking in them, isn't that what boots are for?
