Very soft and looks wonderful on the horse! It's only draw back is that it is a shaving magnet when the horse lays down or rubs on something. It is very soft and seems very cozy! However, the one draw back is shavings stick to it and they just don't want to come off. Works really well as a warm underlayer or even with a cotton sheet over the top to keep off shavings.
