Well.. I personally am very heat sensitive, so I bought this vest. It looks great for one, and seems to be relativly cool, but the only negative aspect i noticed is that once you dip it in water, and the cooling effect takes place, the vest becomes very heavy with the added weight of the retained water. Its going to take some getting used to, but overall it seems to work ok!

I recieved my Cool Medics vest right in the middle of a nasty heat wave. I put it to immediate use, attending a riding lesson that my friend was taking in the mid 90's temperature. It was really hot that day but I stayed as cool as a cucumber! I teach riding to children and this vest is helping me cope with the hot temperatures that we're having here in Upstate NY. The only drawback (if you want to call it that) is that you will feel damp, as well as cool...I, for one, don't care if I'm damp if I feel cooler!

I love these vests. I have one for schooling, and a v-neck for show. They really work. I absolutely love them. I found them at a dressage show... and i'm sure they will be popular in the hunter jumper world soon. They are awesome!!!
