These were just wide enough for me in Ariat terrains, (men's size 11) A bit snug for winter boots. Wish they came in a 5" I use them on Aussi saddles. So far so good. Much lighter than the heavy brass ones.

Absolutely love these! My sister got them for me for Christmas because I had a knee injury last year. They are wonderful on me knee. They provide stability and support that I just don't get from regular stirrups.
