I bought this pad to replace an old fleeceworks one and I'm glad I did! It's amazingly soft and fits under my saddle beautifully. I've washed it over 6 times since I've had it, but put it on the delicate cycle with sheepskin specific cleaner. I then let it air dry then brush it with a wire dog brush and it looks practically new each time! I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one of these pads.

I purchased this half pad in June of 2011 and it fell apart (exploded rather!) in the washer after just 4 months. It had been washed with other show pads and nothing else. It was never put in the dryer- only air dried. I must say it did not appear to be "real sheepskin" that covered the inside of our dryer. I would not purchase this particular half pad again.
