For a properly fitted bridle, a caveson noseband should sit just below the horse's cheekbones – generally no more than the width of 2 fingers from the bottom of the cheekbone to the top of the noseband (this does not apply to drop or figure 8 nosebands). Figure 8 nosebands should sit above the bottom of the cheek bone only if they have a ring that allows movement connecting the noseband to the cheek piece. Properly adjusted cheek pieces will cause the bit to create two gentle wrinkles at the corner of the mouth on each side. Cheek piece buckles should generally be at the level of a horse's eye, and on a bridle that fits a horse's head very well, all buckles will generally be at the same level as each other. These cheek piece guidelines are just a suggestion, as finding a perfect fit on all horses is near impossible. Multiple holes are given on cheek pieces to allow for vast adjustment. The shipping came on time, and the color of the bridle is absolutely gorgeous. A lot prettier in person! Just one thing I thought wasn't all that great about this bridle: the leather was a bit hard, even when I oiled it and bended it. But not everything is perfect. I'm sure it will soften up with some time. Oh, and I would suggest using different reins, they are squeaky and uncomfortable to hold. But they were thrown in for free. But aside from the reins, this bridle looks beautiful on and off the horse(: If you can't afford a super high priced bridle, this one would be a good choice.

Overall a very nice bridle, stitching is even and solid, and fits the head well. My only disspointment was the throatlatch leather had a crack, almost as if a knife and cut across it, I have to be very careful when buckling it, I'm afraid the throatlatch might break off at that point. Does match my Circuit saddle well.
