Measure around your head at the widest part, be sure to do this with your hair up if that is how the helmet will be worn. Match the measurement up with a size based on the size chart below. The tape measure should be snug.

BUY THIS HELMET!!!!! I bought this helmet a couple months ago and I ABSOULUTLY ADORE IT!!!!!! It isn't that hot in warmer weather and it is really comfortable. This is the best helmet I have ever owned. Besides just being comfortable, it is also really nice looking for shows, lessons, you name it. Even though it was the priciest helmet in the store it has been worth its weight in gold. Oh...and another thing...I have very long and thick hair but I can tuck it up in my helmet and the helmet is still comfortable. Again, this is just a GREAT helmet!!!!☺

This is the best helmet I have ever had! I feel that the comfort and style are superior to anything else on the market right now (GPA included). Charles Owen does a nice job of minimizing the "mushroom head" look with the low profile helmets and the Wellington Professional is no exception. It is also very light and has a nice, soft harness that will not dig into the side of your face. The helmet is especially good for riders who have more of an oval shaped head and may have a hard time finding a good fit in other brands. Trust me, once you put this helmet on, you will never want to wear anything else! You cannot go wrong with this one!

This is an absolutely fantastic helmet! The GR8 is also a great helmet, but the Wellington worked out for me because it is deeper in the head and works perfectly with my hair up. I love the harness which is incredibly soft, comfortable, and secure. Most comfortable helmet ever--Charles own makes great helmets. If the GR8 is too small/ doesnt fit quite right, I highly recommend this helmet. I could wear it all day. It's absolutely gorgeous and the best investment that you could ever make. Everyone seems to wear these helmets, I can see why. Quality, safety, and they are really pretty. I espicially like the more square bill on the front--it's extremely flattering. Don't forget--you are protecting your head and it's important to get a helmet that fits properly. Because of the price, with the economy the way it is, I would purchase a less-expensive helmet for beginners, and if they are planning to show, the JR8 is a much more affordable helmet. Personally, I had a tipperary (nice helmet, I used it for trails) and once I got into showing and got more serious I bought my charles own wellington pro which I use for schooling and for show.
