Measure around your head at the widest part, be sure to do this with your hair up if that is how the helmet will be worn. Match the measurement up with a size based on the size chart below. The tape measure should be snug.

I just received my Wellington Classic last week, and I LOVE it!!! The fit is absolutly perfect; specifically, the fit of the harness at the base of the skull. The shape is also very nice; very flattering to the face. I am so impressed, I am purchasing another Charles Owen helmet (probably the new AYR8) for schooling. The death of actress Natasha Richardson should remind us all - head protection is very important, and the money spent on a good helmet is well worth it.

I tried on every show helmet in the store and this was the only one to fit my square head. Nice padding, and amazingly not too hot. I am not in love with the harness, but also dont hate it. The laces in the back allowed for the fit to be adjusted nicely. I also like that the helmet is not overly deep. I have a square shaped head, but most helmets are too deep and practically cover my ears.
