Ripping and slipping

After probably 3 months, the Velcro is coming off at the stitching. Rosie is easy on boots, and I use them for everyday use over my home-made cross country course in the pasture, in the paddock over the jumps, down the trails, and in dressage (everyday, basically), and they are just barely holding on. They slip where the Velcro is, turning to the back and tripping her. I'm spending the extra $10 to get the Davis ones!

These are fairly good schooling bell boots, but after I ran cross country in them twice and used them in one schooling session, the velcro started ripping off. My horse isn't even that hard on his bell boots. Good for the price, but invest in something better.

I really like these boots. I thought they would get torn quickly since the price is so low, but our warmblood, who is fairly rough on boots, has worn them for months in turn-out, and they're still fine. Great colors, good price. They do run a bit large. The only reason I gave them 4 stars not 5 is I have only had them a couple of months.
