This item is not as pictured. It is bulky. The item photographed here looks more like a medicine boot than the thick wrap it actually is. If you need to wrap your horsesA legs, do it the correct way, use standing wraps (stable bandages) and No Bows Leg Wraps. I donAt think this item offers the same support as traditional wrapping. On the plus side the velcro is very heavy duty.

My horse got caught in my neighbors barb-wired fence when she tried to jump it. We got her out fine, but he two front legs were scraped up enough to make you worry. Everyday for a week we'd soak them, put neosporin on her cuts, wrap them in bandages and put these over them while out in the pasture so her bandages didn't come off. They were everything I needed. They held her bandages, and didn't become loose even with all her rolling,running, and playing with other horses. I got them from another tack site in camofaugle along with hock wraps to match, she's so very cute in them. I hope to use them next week when I trailer her 10 hours from Alabama to Florida.
