When I first got my horse she had soft feet and needed protection when being ridden. I tried some other boots and they did not fit her feet and were very hard to get on and off. I got these and they not only fit her feet they are a breeze to put on! I used them with the gaiters and they never fell off or hurt her feet! After riding for awhile I did get off and retightened them. The only thing I didn't like was that they don't have much traction. This could be easily fixed with studs though.
