Baker™'s famous quality in a waterproof/breathable turnout! Long-wearing and warm, 1200 denier ripstop nylon outer shell is specially treated to repel dirt and stains. Waterproof/breathable nylon lining polishes the coat, and 440-gram Curvofill IV insulation provides warmth. Bias surcingles, elasticized leg straps and a triple-dart rump keep blanket in place. Beautiful Blanket...lining very weak!

I bought this blanket last winter for my 16.3 OTTB who is pretty playful in the field. The outer shell has held up beautifully without a tear, but by the end of the first season he wore it, the inside lining was completely torn. Now after just a couple of weeks of use this winter, the insulation is ripping out. I love the quality and look of the outside plaid shell, but the lining could definitely be alot stronger.

I love how this blanket fits on my 17.1 AQHA. It is high on the neck and roomy in the shoulders. Keeps rain and mud off my horse. This blanket is very warm, probably too warm for the bay area. This blanket fits true to size and workmanship is first rate. Inside nylon lining could be thicker. Maybe like the Big D blanket liner would be best.I would definetly buy this blanket again.Oh yeah my horse shreds blankets for fun and so far he can't shred this one. Not even one tear.

I bought one of these when it first came out. I've used it off and on for the last few years, heavily the first and second year. One big problem I have with this blanket now is that the nylon they used on the lining is SO thing, it's just completely wearing out. I started to notice this the second season, and there is almost no way to repair it without a big patch (this is mostly occurring in the chest area). It's very warm though, and has fit pretty much any horse I put it on. For the price though, save a few extra bucks and get a Rambo or Rhino. Just wasn't impressed enough to buy another to replace this.
How to Measure Your Horse and Fit your BlanketThe fit of your blanket is extremely important to the comfort of your horse. Improperly fitting blankets can cause rubbing and slippage. To find blanket size, measure distance from center of the chest, across the point of the shoulder, and to the center of the tail. Many blankets are sized in two or three inch increments, so choose the closest size available.

Care of Your BlanketBlankets should be cleaned annually. First, remove excess dirt with a brush or hose, then wash by hand or on a delicate cool water cycle. Use very mild soap. Allow to drip dry. Do not put blankets in the dryer as this will damage the waterproof coating and void any warranties.
