Inventory Warehouse Openings
Are you a horse person looking for a full time job and would love a discount on products? If so, Dover Saddlery is looking for you! We have two openings at our warehouse in Littleton, MA. While one opening consists of data entry which requires good math skills, the other opening will keep you moving all day. For both jobs it is necessary to have high attention to detail, the ability to work alone and within a team, knowledge of horse products, able to bend/lift up to fifty pounds and ok with heights; as we will train you to drive a skyjack. Both jobs are Monday-Friday. Besides the generous employee discount we also offer full benefits.

Dover Saddlery is seeking a dynamic, self motivated Pricing/Merchandising Analyst for our catalog/web and retail stores. You will support the pricing and margin management of this fast growing equestrian company.
Major responsibilities include: The Pricing/Merchandising Analyst will support the annual and seasonal pricing process by analyzing competitive pricing, costs, pricing trends, and margin objectives to position Dover favorably in the marketplace. This position will execute pricing strategies and tactics for catalogs, on-line and retails stores in the equestrian marketplace and provide executive-level reporting of pricing results, project plans, tactics, and strategies. Work with cross-functional teams to evaluate and recommend optimal customer pricing by assessing all variables that would impact price and build and update system with new prices. Position will monitor competitor pricing and generate price level comparisons as well as conduct complex crossover and profitability analysis - pricing related analysis, such as analysis of contribution margins. Conduct ad hoc merchandising analysis and projects as assigned. The Pricing/Merchandising Analyst will have contact and coordination with Merchandise Director, Buyers and Product Development. This position requires a very high level of attention to detail and the ability to flourish in a high throughput environment.
A College degree is required. The ideal candidate should be an expert in Microsoft Excel, and have strong mathematical skills related to cost, and gross profit margins. Analytical skills with the ability to use a systematic approach to resolve loosely defined problems and create strong recommendations are essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are critical. The ability to build rapport and influence decisions in a deadline denominated are essential. Experience in a catalog/Direct environment also a plus.
