These are a great pair of boots. I just bought my second pair. I had the first pair for four years, and they held up pretty well. I really like the back zipper--it's great for when I'm in a hurry and don't want to bother with the laces. They are extremely comfortable, and the elastic panels on the side allow for just the right amount of flexibility in the ankle. However, my zipper finally split in the back--that is the only drawback of these boots. Most comfortable pair of boots I have ever had.

I bought these paddocks several years ago and almost immediately, the rubber sole detached from the leather at the point of toe on the left boot, and about a month later, the right. I had them repaired, then one of the rear zippers seperated. I had that replaced, and the soles started detaching from the leather near the arch. I am very careful with my things and never wore these boots in mud or water. I would not recommend them and will not repair them again.

These boots are bad quality. I am VERY careful with my ownings and such. The snap on the back of the boots broke the first time I put them on from Ariat putting the snap on too tight. I do not recommend these boots.
