My Ariat dressage boots are the only boots I've ever owned that I can wear for hours and not come up lame the next day. So when I started shopping for paddock boots, I immediately checked these out. They are stable in the stirrups, comfortable on the ground, and so good-looking it's a shame I can't wear them to work! Also, I was sure I would like zip-up paddocks, and I was right.

Although Ariat boots are high quality and well made, the Heritage Paddock II boot is not their top-of-the-line model. However, I'm sure the boots will hold up well, as Ariat products tend to do. I was disappointed that these boots can't also be used with spurs for riding. This necessitates having to change into boots that will fit spurs in order to ride, which is a bit of an extra hassle. I did not have to do this with my previous pair of Ariat boots. I thought these would be the same.

My 6 month old Newfoundland couldn't resist my former pair Ariats.I didn't spring for the top of the line because I'm unsure of how long this chewing phase will last. That being said, these boots are super! Lots of room in the toe and easy to get on/off. I had to go down a size. They seem to run a bit larger than the other Ariats that I've owned.
Great buy!
