When your horse is ready, these are the perfect training supplement for teaching the horse balance and softness. The Vienna reins allow for lateral and vertical movement, and are much more consistent than human hands. They are a great tool for developing a strong top line in any horse for any discipline. I see improvement in every horse I work with after three sessions. No more side reins for me. I even used these to completely rehabilitate two horses that had EPM. I am ordering another pair- my friends don't want to give them back.

Wonderful for young horses who evade side reins. My young, un-broken horse was correct and round from the moment I put them on. The only problem I had was he did panic a few times, although nothing major, whereas he did not with regular side reins. Overall great quality and great product and the only lunging aid I will be using from now on.

As a dressage trainer, I find these side reins my favorite for most horses. They give the horse the ability to choose a frame that is suitable for his level of development. I also find them suitable for longeing a rider, as they do not restrict to the point of panic, but give a nice position and allow the horse to become round and balanced.
