Way too long

I bought this for my 17.1 thoroughbred and it was also, as previously stated, way too long for him. It's impossible to punch holes because of the raised part. Do NOT buy!

it is HUGE i have a 15.2 thoroughbred and he was swimming in the girth end. it's not completely worthless -- if you have a leather punch to MAKE IT FIT. it works and it was $30.00. i would recommend it but do not expect it to fit from girth to neck strap it's LONG. leather punch is a MUST!

I almost took a pass on this "priced for everyday" Martingale. So pleased that I ordered it! The martingale is a very standard size. It fits my 16.1 horse nicely. If it needs to be shortened more there is plenty of room to punch more holes on the "girth end" of the martingale rather than the raised part. Perhaps others are used to cinching their martingales in too tight? Don't know...but it works fine for me and is a good value for the price!
