Retail Allocation Analyst
Come join a winning team! In this role, you will plan and execute the optimal store inventory replenishment levels, consistently review sales ensuring appropriate turn rates, monitor any excess inventory issues, and support new store openings. Position involves responding to merchandise requests/concerns, meeting with buyers to discuss goals and allocation issues, and anticipating the needs of stores based on trends.
-3 years of experience in Retail Allocation/Planning or centralized Store Inventory Replenishment
-Demonstrated knowledge of retail math (sell-through, weeks of supply, inventory turn)
-Ability to build strong relationships with business partners and vendors
-Strong working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook
-Detail oriented with excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and analytical skills
-Equestrian knowledge a plus but not required

Return to Vendor Specialist
This position is responsible to return products to our vendors. This will include and is not limited to communication with our vendors to obtain RA#s, invoices and credits. This position requires ability to communicate via multiple channels, basic excel skills and extreme attention to detail in order to keep the inventory accurate.
Primary duties include: reviewing Receiving paperwork to notify vendors of shortages/ overages, creating consistent documentation to both notify vendors and Finance; picking (including driving a skyjack), packing and shipping product to the vendors; signing off on credit memos and maintaining a tracking spreadsheet for Finance. Executing stock RTVs, which may or may not include retail stock, will require the additional step of confirming with Purchasing any product and/or packaging condition requirements. Additional duties include coordinating movement of inventory out of overstock as needed for return to vendor, working with the QC specialist to notify vendors of a need for credit or to return defective product, and working with the returns department to coordinate the return of product from the stores to the vendors (performed at the request of purchasing).
It is necessary for the right person to be able bend/lift 50 pounds and to work within a team and on their own. Horse product knowledge is strongly preferred. This opening is located at our warehouse in Littleton MA. We offer health insurance and a very generous employee discount.
