I got these as a gift for christmas of 2010. At first I loved them, even though they have never kept my frozen feet warm without adding a toe warmer. However, after a while, I noticed that these really hurt my ankles, especially after a full day of riding and walking around in them. Coincidentally, someone else from my barn also said exactly the same. It kind of feels like they have a weird arch to them, and even when just wearing them it points you off your heel and onto your toe. Riding wise- aside from the ankle pain, they were not too bulky and otherwise comfortable. Another issue that I have with them is that they are just not tall enough and come about 2-3 inches below the knee. I do not have long legs at all. This was a minor issue for me though. Just recently, one of the snaps at the back of the zipper just broke. This is only after my using these boots for about 3-4 months last winter, and now another 2-3 months this year. All in all, I wish I could say that they were wonderful and held up

Love them they are comfortable in 28 degrees and up. However they do not hold heat in double and single digits temps. They are easy to ride in and are not bulky. Wish a bit warmer in single digit temps. I had ice mountains and sent them back these are just as warm in cold temps. last 2,5 hours in twenty degree temps before toes start to get cold. Well worth the money,
