Waterproof/breathable nylon lining polishes the coat, and 440-gram Curvofill IV insulation provides warmth. Bias surcingles, elasticized leg straps and a triple-dart rump keep blanket in place. How to Measure Your Horse and Fit your Blanket
The fit of your blanket is extremely important to the comfort of your horse. Improperly fitting blankets can cause rubbing and slippage. To find blanket size, measure distance from center of the chest, across the point of the shoulder, and to the center of the tail. Many blankets are sized in two or three inch increments, so choose the closest size available.
Blankets should be cleaned annually. First, remove excess dirt with a brush or hose, then wash by hand or on a delicate cool water cycle. Use very mild soap. Allow to drip dry. Do not put blankets in the dryer as this will damage the waterproof coating and void any warranties.

The blanket looks brand new after one tough winter---a great buy! Only wish it came in a larger size for our bigger drafts.

The only complaint I have is that I had to pay extra shipping ($10.00) before I could pick up at the post office - the shipping I paid to Dover online didn't cover the cost.

Reviewed By: Keena (Virginia) This is a great blanket. I have it on a 30 year old mare and she hasn't lost any weight this year, and the temperatures have been in the single digits. It is also cheaper than the Rambo and it has more fill than the Rambo. I highly recommend it.
